Etchants: Acidic and/or alkaline products designed for metal removal to increase the surface area of the substrate and efficiently remove the skin that may have formed on it during the “metal forming” process. Our etching chemicals ensure that the surface represents the ‘pure’ bulk metals free of impurities after the process.

Desmutters: Smuts are usually developed on metals upon etching. While etching metallic alloys certain metallic deposits (smuts) may still remain on the surface and interfere with subsequent processes. Our desmutters efficiently remove the smut to create a treatment ready surface. Our range consists of many metal specific products to suit various applications.
